Sell or hire out a bouncy castle

Sell your equipment or keep hiring it out?

A sale gives you a one-off conclusion. If you keep hiring the item out, you retain it but also keep the work and risk. Check its condition, confirmed bookings, storage and maintenance before deciding.

Frequently asked questions about selling a bouncy castle

Can I sell on HOPS24 without already being a hire provider?

Yes. Register as a provider, add the item and enable the sale option. You set the price and decide who to sell to.

What does selling through HOPS24 cost?

HOPS24 currently charges no basic fee for the provider account and the features currently enabled. HOPS24 does not deduct a share of the agreed sale price. Paid features are only activated after the price has been shown and you explicitly order them.

What happens after a confirmed sale?

The item is marked as sold and other open purchase enquiries are closed. Check existing hire commitments before confirming.

Can the buyer add the item to their provider inventory?

If the buyer is a provider, the confirmed handover can form the basis of their own draft listing. They must verify every detail before publishing.

Is hiring out better than selling?

That depends on demand, condition, ongoing costs and the time you can commit. Include transport, cleaning, maintenance, storage and downtime in your calculation.

Is hiring equipment complicated?

The provider area supports listings, calendars and enquiries. You agree contract, payment, deposit, handover and accounting directly with your customer.

Can I offer the item for hire and sale at the same time?

Yes, provided you respect availability and confirmed dates. After a confirmed sale the item is removed from active hire.

What do I need to get started?

A provider account, clear photos, an honest description, condition details and your asking price.

Made your decision?

Add the item and choose sale, hire or both. You agree the contract and payment directly with the other party.
